全球航空业的蓬勃发展带来了显著的经济效益和社会效益,与此同时,航空运输业也面临着环境污染、燃油消耗、成本维护等问题的挑战。针对这些挑战,需要对飞机系统进行技术革新,其中一项重大的革新就是多电飞机。继前两届中国商用多电技术国际研讨会成功举办后,IET英国工程技术学会、清华大学、中国商用飞机有限责任公司将携手共同打造国际合作、产学研联合的第三届多电技术国际研讨会,本届研讨会以“对话多电飞机领域的技术发展与国际合作”为主题,届时来自国际学术界、研究领域,以及产业界,从商用领域到军用领域的知名专家与代表将积聚一堂,对话多电飞机领域的技术发展,阐述最新研究成果,了解行业发展动态与需求,共同探讨新技术的应用与产业化实践,加深国际层面更宽、更广的合作。

The global aviation industry’s thriving development has brought significant economic and social benefits to society. However, the industry faces huge challenges relating to environmental pollution, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs. Technological innovations are required to meet the financial and environmental issues facing the industry, and leading the way in the development of solutions to these issues is “More Electric Aircraft” (MEA). Following two highly successful symposiums dedicated to More Electric Aircraft Technology held in China in 2014, and 2015, by the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd (COMAC), 2016 sees a tri party collaboration that will bring together global leaders from the aerospace industry, academia, and research & development. The UK based Institution of Engineering and Technology, Tsinghua University and COMAC will cooperate together to host the 3rd International Symposium on More Electric Aircraft Technology in Beijing on the 12th – 13th of April 2016. The symposium has been designed to encourage greater international dialogue on “More Electric Aircraft Technology Development” and to stimulate greater global cooperation. The symposium will bring together experts from all over the world to discuss the latest developments in MEA Technology, and it will cover both commercial aviation and military applications. The key aims and objectives of this international symposium are to promote dialogue between Academia and Industry, to showcase the latest research outcomes from international research institutions, to discuss the commercial application and industrialization of these new technologies to meet needs of industry and society, and provide opportunities for deeper international collaboration going forward.

Form and Scale

♦ This is a two-day Symposium featuring 15-20 internationally and domestically recognized experts. The first day is academic reports, and the second day is industry reports.


Key Objectives

♦ To encourage technological progress on More Electric Aircraft.

♦ To promote dialogue between Academia and Industry: Academic delegates will present their research results and Industry delegates will share their requirements.

♦ To promote knowledge exchange and cooperation among University- Research Institute- Industry, and international cooperation in the area of More Electric Aircraft.

♦ To establish a network of Aerospace between China and UK among Universities, Research Institutes, and Industry.
